International Excellence Scholarship (Africa)
They have International Excellence Scholarships (Africa) which are available for students who excel academically or show potential studying at Swansea University. Scholarships are awarded as a discount on tuition fees. Full terms and conditions are available on the application form. Packages include:
- Amount: Up to £6,000 (£4,000 awarded in Year 1 and £2,000 awarded in Year 2 subject to achieving a 70% average)
- September 2024 entry: Applications are now open.
- Deadline: 30th August 2024. Please note, that only one application will be considered. Students from Africa should only apply via the International Excellence Scholarship Application Form (Africa UG) 24/25

Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for scholarships at the University of Swansea typically includes:
- Academic excellence and 2:1 CGPA for Postgraduate.
- Meeting specific course requirements.
- Non-UK citizenship is required.
- Students are required to present proof of English literacy IELTS
- Applicants must have applied and received an offer to study at Swansea University at the Undergraduate or Master’s level.
- Applicants must have demonstrated excellence in their academic performance to date and be able to show what they will achieve at Swansea University in their application for undergraduate admissions.
- Students whose course fees are lower than £16,000 are not eligible to apply.
