How to get to Harvard Square in Cambridge by Bus, Subway, or Train
  • By Train; Take a train to the North station, after that, transfer to the Orange and then Red Line stop, or take a train to the South Station, after that, transfer to the Redline stop. Note that South Station is the final destination for most Trailways as well as Greyhound buses. So take the Redline inbound to Harvard.

  • From Amtrak; from Amtrak, South Station is the final destination, the same as for some commuter trains. Moreover, take the Redline and go to Harvard.

  • From Downtown Boston, head West on MA-2 towards John F. Fitzgerald Surface Road, then take Massachusetts Avenue.
