2024 Government of Denmark Scholarship at SDU (Southern Denmark University)
The Government of Denmark scholarship is presented in alliance with Southern Denmark University to license international scholars in a bit to commence their tertiary institutions’ studies.
This is done to recognize overseas scholars’ excellent and explicit contributions during their studies.
As a beneficiary of the 2024 Government of f Denmark scholarship, one will be given access to a full tuition scholarship within the period of your master’s degree program
Eligibility Requirements for the Government of Denmark Scholarship
To be given attention or considered eligible for the Government of Denmark scholarship at SDU, candidates must;
1. Not be an EU/EEA candidate
2. Must be enrolled in any of the following master’s degree programs in Sonderborg. MSc in engineering comprised of Electronics, Mechatronics, and mechanical engineering
3. Candidates must apply no later than February 1st even with the possession of a Danish Green card.
The application must contain all the essential documents at the time of submission as SDU usually deems it necessary to request further documentation
Your application must contain the following;
1. Application payment receipt
2. Formal/approved Bachelor’s academic records(transcript) and Diploma in English Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian and must include grade and ETCs/units/credits for each course
3. Proper description of the course on your academic record
4. Written evidence of Fluency in the English language
Government of Denmark Scholarship: Benefits SDU scholarship
Total or partial tuition fee expenses;
The scholarship is given either as a total or partial tuition fee waiver. Partially, the tuition fee covers the fee or expenses for a year+ i.e second and fourth semesters) while the candidate will have to cater for the first and third semesters.
However, it is important to note that the fee waiver covers only 30 ECTs per semester meaning if the courses done exceed 30 ECTs, they won’t be included in the fee waiver.
In the same vein, a total fee waiver includes the fee for two years which comprises four semesters.

Candidates with interest should;
1. visit the scholarship webpage on SDU’s website
2. Seek admission to any of the eligible master’s degree program
3. Endeavor to make available all the necessary documents before submitting
It is important to note that all documents must be uploaded online as no documents are accepted via mail.
Once the submitted applications are processed, the scholarship will be awarded to the most outstanding candidates on the merit of the grade point average of their Bachelor’s degree as an online interview with some important personnel from the master’s program will be conducted
